Lima One Capital was looking for a new AV partner to provide video and audio conferencing for their training rooms in Greenville, SC. Superior AV’s expert design team worked to create interactive classrooms while integrating Zoom into the VTC system. Zoom was the primary collaborative software fleet wide supported by their internal IT team, so it was essential to integrated in the new AV system.
From the beginning, it was clear that the main tenants of Lima One’s culture was clear communication from leadership and easy collaboration among the teams. Coordinating meetings, data sharing, collaborative sessions, and training was essential for Lima One to meet its objectives in a unified and time sensitive way.
QSys Control platform provides considerable audio processing to manage voice lift, mix minus configurations, and media playback. QSys provides a stable and reliable control platform for video, routing control, and power functions. Shure beam forming microphones allowed SSC to design these spaces without clutter or inconvenient cable paths while being able to amplify every person in the room. PTZOptics video cameras offer a great value to the client. High level programming and the open architecture attributes of the Qsys system allow Superior AV to sync the audio and video to produce a coherent presentation to the far end participants.
A symbiotic relationship between the two platforms with an easy-to-use interface was the key to this client’s success. The 3rd and 4th floor training/meeting rooms have semi-autonomous AV/VTC systems with simple to use controls and the Zoom product is fully integrated into the QSys platform with the QSys GUI centralizing control. The cameras and microphones autonomously track the person speaking transforming a virtual environment into a real one.
